DHAKA, Jan 06, 2025 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) launched the new version of its One-Stop Service (OSS) portal on Sunday.

The updated version incorporates several key features to enhance service delivery, making it easier and more transparent for investors, said a press release.

BIDA initially launched the online OSS portal (www.bidaquickserv.org) on February 24, 2019, to provide online services to domestic and foreign investors.

Currently, the portal offers 134 services from 44 organizations, enabling investors to access all necessary services in one place. This has significantly reduced both time and costs, fostering a more investment-friendly environment in the country.

Key Features of the New Version:

Public Service Performance Dashboard: The new dashboard provides comprehensive data on the number of applications processed and their resolution timelines by BIDA and its associated stakeholders.

Online Monitoring and Application Tracking: Service recipients can now track the real-time status of their applications online.

Convenient Service Access: Investors can access information about the services offered through the OSS portal without the need to log in, ensuring greater accessibility and transparency.

As per the BIDA One-Stop Service Rules, 2020, applications are required to be processed within a stipulated timeframe. The monitoring dashboard allows higher authorities to oversee this process effectively, ensuring timely service delivery to applicants.

The new portal aims to provide a more transparent, seamless, and efficient service experience for investors. The portal is accessible at https://bidaquickserv.org.
