DHAKA, Sept 22, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh has witnessed huge response to expand its footprint in Europe apparel market through a strong presence at Texworld, Apparel Sourcing and Leatherworld Paris 2025.

Some twenty Bangladeshi companies , including 13 direct exhibitors and seven represented via the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), have taken part to showcase their products in the three-day leading global consumer goods show, said a press release here.

The sourcing fair, organised by Messe Frankfurt at the Paris–Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, has drawn more than 1,300 exhibitors from 35 countries.

From sustainable fabrics to value-added garments, the country’s contingent is seeking to reposition Bangladesh beyond its traditional image as a low-cost producer.

Industry insiders note that Texworld Paris offers Bangladesh a rare opportunity to meet leading European buyers under one roof.

With consumer demand in Europe shifting toward innovation, compliance, and sustainability, Bangladeshi exhibitors have highlighted upgraded capabilities to capture higher-value orders.

The fair also featured national pavilions from China, Turkey, India, Korea, Taiwan, and Pakistan.

Bangladesh’s focused approach is seen as a strategic move to reinforce its role as the world’s second-largest apparel exporter while signaling readiness to compete in new categories.

Global buyers have shown steady interest in South Asian exhibitors since the opening day, with Bangladeshi stalls attracting notable traffic.
