NWO distributes Tk 74.17 lakh among 850 trainees in Khulna

KHULNA, Sept 22, 2025 (BSS) - National Women's Organization (NWO) in hulna on Monday distributed allowance cheques and certificates among trainees under its grassroots women's entrepreneurship development project.

Khulna Deputy Commissioner Md. Toufiqueur Rahman attended the programme as the chief guest and distributed cheques among the trainees.

Marking the "Festival of Youth," the National Women's Organization in Khulna organised a programme this afternoon at the Khulna District Shilpakala Academy auditorium, which also featured an entrepreneur fair and a traditional pitha festival.

Nurul Hai Mohammad Anas, additional deputy commissioner (Education & ICT) and chairman of the National Women's Organisation, presided over the event while Nur Mohammad, district executive officer of the organisation, was present as a special guest.

As part of the initiative, cheques worth Taka 74.17 lakh were distributed among 850 trainees from seven trades-event management, beautification, catering, fashion design, baby care, housekeeping and business management.
