DHAKA, Feb 26, 2026 (BSS) - Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has said that the main objective of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) government is to ensure a trade-friendly environment by maintaining law and order across the country to foster business.

“Our main objective is to ensure a favorable environment for business by controlling the law and order situation and maintaining overall stability,” he said.

The minister made the remarks during a courtesy call by members of the board of directors of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) at his office at the Bangladesh Secretariat today.
