Remittance inflow grows 100pc till March 2

DHAKA, March 03, 2026 (BSS) - Remittance inflow grew by 100 percent year-on-year, reaching $377 million in the first two days of March, according to Bangladesh Bank (BB) data issued today. 

Last year, during the same period, the country received $188 million in remittances. 

During July to March 02 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent $22,830 million in remittances compared to $18,678 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
