
DHAKA, April 14, 2026 (BSS) - A 22-member business delegation from the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) is scheduled to depart for Guangzhou, China, tomorrow to bolster bilateral economic ties.
The visit aimed at strengthening Bangladesh-China economic engagement, expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation and exploring new avenues of business collaboration between the entrepreneurs of these two countries, said a press release.
The delegation is led by Razeev H Chowdhury, Senior Vice President, DCCI. The group includes exporters and importers engaged in food manufacturing, ceramic, information technologies, automotive, industrial oil and grease, shipping and logistics services, electrical and electronics, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, defense equipment and ready-made garment.
During the visit, the delegation will attend a series of Business Forums and B2B networking sessions with leading Chinese trade promotion organizations and Chambers including CCPIT Guangzhou, CCPIT Guangzhou Nansha, Guangzhou Nansha Association of Trade in Services, Guangdong Chamber of Commerce of Importers & Exporters, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products (CCCME) and Guangzhou Overseas Enterprises Chamber of Commerce.
The program will also feature participation in China’s premier international trade exhibition, the Canton Fair, where the delegation will engage in structured buyer-seller matchmaking session and on-site business exploration. In addition, the delegation will attend the Guangzhou Sourcing Fair.
Through these initiatives, DCCI reaffirms its commitment to promoting international trade, fostering private sector collaboration, and supporting Bangladeshi enterprises in integrating more effectively into global supply chains.
