JCD celebrates 46th founding anniversary in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Jan 1, 2025 (BSS) - Rangpur District Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) today celebrated its 46th founding anniversary with colourful programmes in the city.
 
The district unit of JCD brought out a jubilant    procession led by its convener Sharif Newaz Joha from the Zilla School ground in the city this afternoon.
 
The procession paraded through Kachari Bazar, City Bazar, Payra Chattar, Jahaj Company intersection, Grand Hotel and Shapla Chattar and ended at  BNP office at Grand Hotel Intersection  .
 
District JCD convener Sharif Newaz Joha and other leaders of the organisation addressed the rally.
 
Rangpur District BNP Member-secretary Anisur Rahman Laku, District Jubo Dal President Nazmul Alam Naju, Metropolitan Jubo Dal Senior Joint Convener Zahir Alam Noyon, its Member-secretary Atiqul Islam Lelin, District Jubo Dal Joint General Secretary Akibur Rahman Monu, former District JCD President Moniruzzaman Hizbul, among others, addressed the rally.
 
Leaders and activists of the district JCD and its various upazila, union and ward level leaders were also present.
 
Meanwhile, another   procession led by Rangpur Metropolitan JCD member-secretary Al Imran Sujon was brought out in the city streets this  afternoon.
 
The procession passed through the main streets of the city and ended at the Grand Hotel Intersection near the BNP office. Rangpur Metropolitan JCD leaders and activists were also present there.
