KHAGRACHHARI, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed and another injured in a collision with a cement-loaded truck that ran over him on the Khagrachhari-Chattogram highway in Alutila area here early this morning.

The deceased was Feroz Mia, 20, a day laborer, hailed from Shilachari of Lama under Bandarban district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khagrachhari Sadar Police Station Abdul Baten said Feroz and his co-rider were moving towards Matiranga and met the accident around 6:00 am."

Police and fire service personnel rushed to the spot and sent them to Khagrachari Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared Feroz dead.
