Bus hits easy bike, one dies in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS) - An easy bike driver was killed and two others were injured as a bus hit his easy bike at Chuniapara under Sadar upazila here today.

The deceased was identified as Sourav Hemrom, 40, son of Ganak Hemrom, a resident of the Kasba area in Sadar upazila.

A bus of 'Hanif Paribahan' hit an easy bike from behind on the Dinajour-Gobindaganj highway around 2:30 pm, leaving its driver and two passengers injured, said M Motiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Kotwali police station.

The injured were sent to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital where Sourav succumbed to his injuries.
