3 illegal brick kilns fined Tk 7.5 lakh in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS) - A mobile court in a drive here realised Taka 7.5 lakh as fine from the owners of three brick kilns for manufacturing bricks without approval of the Department of Environment and various other irregularities in Sadar upazila.

The mobile court led by executive magistrate Pronoy Biswas conducted the drive at M.M Bricks, Soudia Bricks and Nit Bricks located in different areas of the upazila and realised the fines.

Assistant director of the department of environment, Satkhira, Sardar Shariful Islam was present during the drive.

Members of the law enforcement agencies assisted the mobile court team.
