33 Rohingyas held in Bandarban for illegal trespassing

BANDARBAN, Feb 8, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained a total of 33 Rohingyas from Alikadam in the district early today while they were entering Bangladesh illegally.

Alikadam 57 BGB Naik Subedar Abdur Razzak said that acting on a tip-off, a patrol team conducted a raid on Amtali Asrayan Project Office in Sadar union and detained them.

The detainees include 9 women, 10 men and 14 children, BGB members said.

The detainees are the citizens of Myanmar, BGB added.
