SAVAR, Feb 8, 2025 (BSS) - A mobile court here today sentenced a man to one-
month in jail and fined Taka one lakh for selling dead chicken.

The mobile court led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Executive 
Magistrate Abu Bakkar Sarkar conducted the drive at Genda Kitchen Market in 
Savar this morning.

During the raid, the UNO sentenced Jahangir Alam, owner of Amir Enterprise, 
to one month in prison and fined Taka one lakh for selling dead chicken in 
Savar. 

He said such operations will continue in the future.
