8 July uprising martyr's families get financial aid in Natore

NATORE, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) - Natore zila parishad distributes donation cheques to the families of eight martyrs of July-August uprising today. 

The zila parishad provided assistance of Taka 2 lakh each to the eight martyred families of Natore who were killed in the July-August student-public uprising.

Deputy Commissioner and Zila Parishad Administrator Asma Shaheen and Chief Executive Officer Shamim Bhuiyan handed over the cheques to the martyred families visiting their houses today. 

At that time, the officials expressed their condolences to the members of the martyred families and assured them of being their side in any need.

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Akhtar Jahan Sathi and Singra Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mazharul Islam were also present. 

Deputy Commissioner said that the nation will remember the sacrifice of the martyrs with respect.

The families that received a total of Taka 16 lakh are Shaheed Hridoy Ahmed, Shaheed Sohel Rana and Shaheed Ramjan Ali of Singra Upazila, Shaheed Miqdad Hossain Khan, Shaheed Shaon Khan Siam, Shaheed Shariful Islam Mohan, Shaheed Yasin Ali and Shaheed Mehedi Hasan Robin of Natore Sadar Upazila.
