JHALAKATHI, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) –Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) today held street rallies and distributed leaflets in order to maintain public relations over the implementation of the party's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman's 31-point outline for structural  reforms in the country. 

Md Habibur Rahman Selim Reza, President of New York South unit of BNP, USA, organized the street and leaflet distribution campaigns in various markets and villages of six unions of Kathalia upazila in the district from 10 am to 4 pm.

Hundreds of leaders and workers of the party participated in street rallies at 20 places including Koikhali Bazar in Checharirampur union number-1 of the upazila, Patikhalghata, Banai, Moricbunia, Amua, Taltola, Kathalia Sadar, Kachua Bazar, Centerer Hat, Shauljalia, Munshirabad, Akoner Hat and Satani Bazar.

BNP leader Habibur Rahman also exchanged views with journalists at the Kathalia Press Club.

Former Joint Organizing Secretary of Central Chhatra Dal Golam Azam Saikat, BNP leader retired Col.  Mostafizur Rahman and Jatiyatabadi Tarun Dal Advisor Dr Zakaria Lincon, among others  spoke in various way side rallies.
