Minor boy dies in Sherpur road crash

SHERPUR, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) - A minor boy was killed after being hit by a 
soil-laden tractor in Nalitabari upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Kausar, 6, son of Zakir Hossain, a resident of Gobindanagar 
village of the upazila.

"The accident took place around 2 pm when the soil-laden tractor hit the boy 
as he was playing beside the road next to his house. He died on the spot," 
said Sohel Rana, officer-in-charge (OC) of Nalitabari Police Station.

Legal action will be taken in this connection, the OC added.
