CHATTOGRAM, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug traders with 196 bottle of Phensidyl and seized a private car from the city’s Chandgaon residential area this morning.  

The arrested were identified as Saiful Islam, 37, son of  late Haji Nur Sobhan and Nasir Uddin, 31, son of Zahir Uddin, both  hailed from Jorarganj of the district.

RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media) ARM Mozaffar Hossain said acting on a tip-off a RAB squad set up a check post in the aforesaid area and arrested Saiful Islam and Nasir Uddin along with 196 bottles of Phensidyl syrup wrapped under seat of the car by which they were carrying the drug.

A case was lodged with Chandgaon thana in this connection.
