Farmer electrocuted in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, Feb 12, 2025 (BSS) – A farmer died after being electrocuted in Purba Jorabari village under Domar upazila of the district on Tuesday.
 
The deceased was Rafiqul Islam, 60, aresident of the same area.
 
Police said Rafiqul came in contact with an electric wire when installing an irrigation pump on his tobacco field yesterday afternoon.
 
He died on the spot, said sub-inspector of Domar Police Station Manikul Islam.
