Cheques of Tk 49 lakh distributed to 13 road accident victim families

DINAJPUR, Feb 24, 2025 (BSS) – Cheques of Taka 49 lakh were handed over 
to the families of 13 victims of road accidents in the district today to help them 
lead a decent life.

On behalf of Deputy Commissioner M Rafikul Islam, additional deputy 
commissioner (general) Mohammad Nur-e-Alam handed over the cheques to the 
victim families at a function held at the conference room of the deputy 
commissioner as the chief guest this afternoon.

The district administration and Bangladesh Road and Transport Authority 
(BRTA) organized the distribution function.

BRTA Dinajpur Circle Assistant Director (Eng.) ATM Mainul Hasan presided 
over the event. 

The cheques were distributed by the district administration to the families affected 
by road accidents in the district.

Dinajpur District Road Transport Owners Group President Bhabani Shankar 
Agarwala, General Secretary Shahed Riaz Pim, Executive Member M.A. Khalek, 
Dinajpur District Brick-Vhata Owners Group President Md. Rezaul Islam, 
Dinajpur Nirapad Sarak Chai President Md. Ershaduzzaman Mollah and others 
were present as special guests.
