MUNSHIGANJ, Feb 24 (BSS) - BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain has sought national election by December next saying parliamentary election should be the first priority.

"The responsibility of the interim government is not holding local government elections but national polls. National elections should be held by December next,” he told.

Mosharraf Hossain said this while addressing a rally organized by Munshiganj District BNP at local bus stand area here today.
He said if the BNP is elected, it will make necessary reforms for the country's needs.

Awami League wanted to destroy BNP in 16 years but could not do anything, he said urging the partymen to refrain from misdeeds so that people cannot say that BNP is doing what the Awami League has done.

District BNP convener Mizanur Rahman Sinha chaired the rally while party leaders Mohammad Mohiuddin, Saidul Alam Babul and Mir Sarafath Ali Sapu, spoke, among others, on the occasion.
