Youth dies in Sherpur road crash

SHERPUR, Feb 25, 2025 (BSS) - A youth was killed in a road accident in 
Baitkamari area under Nalitabari upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Khoka Mia, 25, son of Raj Mahmud of Baitkamari area under 
Jogania union of the upazila.

The accident took place around 4pm when a speeding truck ran over Khoka Mia 
while he was crossing the road. He died on the spot, said Sohel Rana, Officer-in-
Charge (OC) of Nalitabari Police Station.

Police recovered the body and handed it over to the family members.
