BGB seizes 10 Indian cattle at Sunamganj border

SUNAMGANJ, Feb 26, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in its two separate drives seized 10 Indian cattle from the border areas of Sunamganj here during early hours today.

Two BGB teams from Banglabazar Border Outpost (BOP) of Doara Bazar upazila and Matiraban Border Outpost (BOP) of Madhyanagar upazila conducted separate drives at 4.30am, said Sunamganj-28 BGB commander Lieutenant Colonel AKM Jakaria Kadir.

The BGB members of Pakpara Border Outpost (BOP) of Doarabazar upazila seized 8 Indian cattle which had no owner. Besides, another team of Matiraban Border Outpost (BOP) seized two more cattle during this time, he added.
