Man killed in Naogaon road accident

NAOGAON, Feb 26, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident at Biharinagar intersection under Dhamairhat upazila here this morning.

The deceased was Kamal Hossain, 40, son of freedom fighter Yad Ali, a resident of Uttar Chakjadu village of the upazila.

The accident took place on the Dhamairhat-Patnitala road around 7:30 am when a picnic bus hit a motorbike from the opposite direction, leaving bike rider Kamal dead on the spot, said Raisul Islam, officer-in-charge of Dhamirhat Police Station.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
