July Uprising martyrs' families receive financial assistance in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - The District Administration on Tuesday afternoon distributed financial assistance among the families of martyrs and injured individuals of the 2024 July Uprising.

Jamalpur Deputy Commissioner Hasina Begum, as the chief guest, handed over cheques to 14 martyrs' families and 19 injured victims at the district conference room.

Each martyr's family received a cheque of Taka 2 lakh, while each of the injured received Taka 20,000.

General Secretary of BNP Jamalpur District Unit Advocate Shah Md Waers Ali Mamun, General Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami District Unit Advocate Abdul Awal, and Convener of the Anti-Indiscriminate Student Movement Meer Ishak Hasan Ekhlas, among others, were present at the event.
