Cumilla BNP holds protest rally against Israeli barbarity

CUMILLA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) -Cumilla metropolitan and district south unit BNP and its affiliated bodies held a protest rally against Israeli barbaric attacks on Palestine and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The protest march started from Kandirpar BNP office this afternoon and ended coming at Kandirpar after parading through Rajganj, Manoharpur and Mogaltuli Circuit House.

Leaders and workers of BNP and affiliated bodies chanted various slogans against Israeli barbarity. Common people participated in the rally along with the Cumilla Metropolitan BNP.

Participants of the rally expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Later, a solidarity rally was organized in front of the party office, which was addressed by central BNP Organizing Secretary Mostaq Mia, Cumilla Metropolitan BNP President Utbatul Bari Abu, General Secretary Yusuf Molla Tipu, South District BNP General Secretary Ashiqur Rahman Mahmud Wasim and Adarsh ??Sadar Upazila BNP Convener Rezaul Qayyum.

They said that the occupying Israeli forces are committing genocide against the Muslim brothers and sisters of Palestine.
 
They have been killing children indiscriminately and bombing various cities in Palestine, including Gaza and Rafah. 

Leaders of local BNP demanded that the UN and world leaders immediately stop human rights violations and infanticide in Palestine.

The BNP has been holding nationwide protest programmes following the instruction of the BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
