NATORE, April 19, 2025 (BSS) - A day-long training programme for Hajj pilgrims was held today in the district, with the participation of individuals traveling under both government and private management.

The training programme began at 9:30am at the historic Alaipur Markaz Jame Mosjid and concluded at 3:30pm.

The session was led by Maulana Mofizur Rahman, Khatib of the mosque, who provided detailed guidance on the essential aspects of performing Hajj.

Kazi Badrul Alam, a key organizer, emphasized the importance of the training, noting that it covered a wide range of critical aspects, including Hajj rituals, rules and regulations, accommodation and transportation logistics, medical assistance and the process of Qurbani.

He hoped that the training would enable pilgrims to perform Hajj with greater preparedness and confidence.

Another organizer, Farman Khan Saikat Chowdhury, shared that over 500 registered male and female pilgrims from the district took part in the session.

"For those seeking further practical guidance, hands-on training sessions will continue daily from Maghrib to Isha prayers," he added.
