DHAKA, Aug 26, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Coast Guard seized huge illegal current and China Duari net worth over Taka 400 crore in Meghula Bazar area in Dohar thana of the district yesterday.

On a tip-off, a team of Coast Guard raided the area and seized 10,000 illegal China Duari net and 11.65 crore meters of illegal current nets worth about Taka 413 crore, said a press release today.

Those nets were destroyed in the presence of the Executive Magistrate and upazila Assistant Fisheries officer.
