PANCHAGARH, April 19, 2025 (BSS) - The country's tallest 140-feet flag stand
will be built near Banglabandha border in Tentulia upazila in the district
where the national flag will fly as Deputy Commissioner Md Sabet Ali laid
foundation stone of the flag stand this afternoon.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said India is on the other side of
Bangladesh and Indian flag is hoisted on a high stand all the time.

"Panchagarh people demanded a flag stand higher than India be built on the
Banglabandha border, where our national flag would fly. To fulfill their
demand, the government took the initiative," he said.
