FENI, April 20, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 76 kilograms of hemp worth Taka 2,66,000 during an operation on Saturday night in the border area near Champaknagar BOP under Chhagalnaiya upazila of the district.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain, captain of the 4 BGB stationed in Feni, confirmed the matter. 

He said, "After sensing the presence of the BGB, the drug dealers fled the scene, leaving behind the sacks of hemp. The seized hemp was later handed over to the Department of Narcotics Control."
