Thunderbolt kills day laborer in Noakhali

NOAKHALI, April 27, 2025 (BSS) - A day laborer was killed by a thunderbolt at Jalyal village of Ward no- 9 in Noakhali Municipality this noon.

The deceased was Nurul Amin Kala, 42, son of Nur Ahmed of Salyaghtaiya village in Sadar upazila.

The lightning followed by a rainstorm hit Nurul Amin around 12.15 pm when he was working in the area, said Police Inspector (Investigation) of Sudharam Model Police Station Abu Taher.
