SIRAJGANJ, April 27, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish Amir Maulana Mamunul Haque today demanded declaring Awami League (AL) as a terrorist party and prosecuting its leader Sheikh Hasina along with all other concerned for their involvement in massacres and enforced disappearances in the past.
“If any AL leader and activist remain alive after the trial, only then they can be given a chance for doing politics,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at a public meeting, organised by Khelafat Majlish Sirajganj district unit at Masumpur playground of the district.
However, Mamunul believed that if there is a fair trial, there will be no one left to manage the Awami League.
He expressed his determination to build a society without discrimination.
Bangaldesh Khelafat Majlish Secretary General Maulana Jalaluddin Ahmad, Joint Secretary General Mufti Sharafat Hussain and Central Organizing Secretary Enamul Haque Musa, among others, spoke on the occasion.
