BOGURA, Sept 3, 2025 (BSSS) – A woman was killed today in a road accident on the Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Mokamtala area at Shibganj upazila of the district.
 
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kundarhat highway police Hafizur Rahman told BSS that “The accident occurred when a truck hit the woman as she was crossing the road.”
   
He said the identity of the victim could not be immediately known.

“The victim was also mentally challenged. Police recovered the body from the spot  and sent it to morgue of Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. We are trying to find her identity”. the OC said.
