PATUAKHALI, April 28, 2025 (BSS) - A minor boy drowned in a pond at Paschim Londa village of Dhankhali union under Kalapara upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Fahim, 5, son of Shahin Hawlader, a resident of the village.
Fahim was playing near the pond adjacent to their house and suddenly he slipped into it and drowned this afternoon, family sources said.
Family members rescued the boy from the pond and took him to Kalapara Hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead.
