Foreign pistol, bullet recovered in Munshiganj

MUNSHIGANG, April 28, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered a foreign-made pistol, along with a magazine and a bullet, from an abandoned house in the Madhya Baghpara area under Sreenagar upazila of the district during a raid early this morning.

According to Shamim Hasan, assistant director of the RAB-10 Media Cell, the operation was carried out around 4:30am based on a tip-off.

The seized firearms have been deposited at the Sreenagar Police Station, he said. 

Shakil Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sreenagar Police Station, confirmed that a general diary (GD) has been filed in connection with the recovery.
