RANGPUR, April 28, 2025 (BSS) - Jamaat-e-Islami’s central assistant secretary general Moulana Abdul Halim has called for developing skilled leadership with moral standards to give the invitation of Islam in the light of the Quran and Sunnah in every household of the society.

“There is no alternative to organizational training to develop skilled leadership at different levels,” Moulana Abdul Halim, also Jamaat-e-Islam’s Rangpur-Dinajpur regional director, said.

He said this while speaking as chief guest at the party’s regional meeting organized by its Rangpur-Dinajpur regional unit at the Jamaat-e-Islami office auditorium in the city on Monday.

He said that due to the lack of moral education based on the Holy Quran, various anarchies including murder and rape are taking place in the present society.

For the formation of a humane government, the party leaders and workers should stand by the helpless and miserable people of the society as a regular practice for good results in the next election.

“The party leaders and workers at the grassroots level must play their due role in solving the social problems of the people," he said, adding that the welfare of the individual, society and the state lies in following the provisions of the Al-Quran.

Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and assistant director of Rangpur-Dinajpur region Principal Moulana Momtaz Uddin, central working committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur regional team member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, regional team member Moulana Abdul Hakim, central Majlish-e-Shura member and Rangpur metropolitan Ameer Vice-principal Moulana ATM Azam Khan, Rangpur Metropolitan Secretary KM Anwarul Haque Kajal, and Ameers and secretaries of all eight district units of Rangpur division, were present, among others.
