NARSINGDI, April 29, 2025 (BSS) - A housewife was killed after being hit by a train at the Basail Rail Gate area in Narsingdi municipality this noon.
The deceased was Selina Begum, 50, wife of Bashir Uddin, a resident of the same area.
The accident occurred when the Dhaka-bound Kalni Express train hit Selina Begum while she was walking on the rail track, said Md Zahurul Islam, Sub-Inspector (SI) of the Narsingdi Railway Police Outpost.
She died on the spot.
