RANGAMATI, April 29, 2025 (BSS) - A medical camp was held today to provide free medical services and medicines to the marginalized communities living in the remote border area of Debachhari in Barkal upazila of the district.

The medical camp was organized under the management of BGB's Rajnagar Battalion (BGB-37) on Tuesday morning, said Lt. Col. Md. Nahid Hasan, commander of Rajnagar Battalion.

He said that a total of 152 hill people, including 91 men, 49 women and 12 children, were provided free medical services and necessary medicines through this medical camp conducted by the medical officer of the battalion.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has always played a leading role in various humanitarian and welfare activities to improve the quality of life of the marginalized communities in the areas under its responsibility, in addition to border security, he said.
