Govt issues license to 797 vehicles in Natore

NATORE, April 29, 2025 (BSS)- A total of 797 vehicles like easy-bikes, 
rickshaws and vans got license today from the Upazila administration to avert 
any hazards while plying on various roads in Singra Pourasabha of the 
district.

To alleviate traffic congestion, Singra Upazila Administration gave the 
license to the selective vehicles through a programme at the Pourasabha 
premises here.

Deputy Commissioner of the district Asma Shahin inaugurated the event as the 
chief guest around 1pm with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Administrator 
of the Pourasabha Mazharul Islam in the chair.

On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Arif Hossain was 
present as special guest.

This step has been taken to reduce traffic congestion by categorizing and 
regulating the movement of vehicles in both urban and rural areas. 

It's an ongoing process while licenses were issued to 797 vehicles today. 

The Pourasabha administrator stated that designated colored attire has been 
made mandatory for drivers distributed accordingly.
