BJAF demands trial of ex-CJ Khairul Haque

MAGURA, April 29, 2025 (BSS) - The Magura unit of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum (BJAF), a platform of the pro-BNP lawyers, today demanded arrest and trial of former Chief Justice (CJ) A B M Khairul Haque, accusing him as the main plotter of destroying country's judiciary and democracy.

The BJAF leaders made the demand from a protest rally at Magura district Ainjibi Samity Chattar here.

They also demanded removal of the judges of higher and lower courts, who were corrupt and acted as allies of the ousted fascist regime.

BJAF Magura district unit president Advocate Roknuzzaman Khan, general secretary Advocate Shahed Hasan Tagor, leaders Advocate Kazi Minhaj, Advocate Kabirul Islam and Advocate Farhana Parvin Beauty, among others, spoke at the event.
