Engineers’ Day observed in Rangpur

RANGPUR, May 7, 2025 (BSS) – Speakers at discussion today said the role of engineers is immense in accelerating national progress for building a developed new Bangladesh.  

They said this at the discussion organized to celebrate the Engineers’ Day 2025 marking the 77th founding anniversary of the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) at its Rangpur center in the city.
 
On the occasion IEB Rangpur center took up colorful programs including hoisting the national flag, taking oath, releasing pigeons and balloons, cake cutting, rally and discussion.
 
Rangpur IEB center President Suruj Mia inaugurated the programs of the day while honourary secretary Sakiul Alam administered oath of the engineers to work with honesty and dedication for country’s development.
 
Suruj Mia said every engineer must work with honesty, dedication and indomitable spirit of patriotism to build a prosperous new Bangladesh.
