MAGURA, May 8, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Bangladesh Army in a drive arrested a man with a revolver and four bullets from Balidia village under Mohammadpur upazila of the district early this morning.

The arrested was Md Imrul Shikder, 40, son of late Nowsher Ali Shikder, a resident of the same area.

On a tip-off, an army team from Magura Army Camp conducted a drive in the area around 1.30 am and arrested Imrul Shikder with the firearm and bullets from his house.

The arrested man and seized firearms were handed over to Mohammadpur Police Station, said Abdur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station.
