NARSINGDI, May 20, 2025 (BSS) - Police today arrested a youth and recovered firearms from Bilashdi area in Sadar upazila of the district. 

The arrestee was Md Sagir Ahmed, 22, son of Md Habibullah of Baluakandi village of Raipura thana of the district.

On a tip-off, a team of police from Sadar Thana raided the area and arrested Sagir. They also recovered a shooter gun, one round of bullet and knife from his possession, said officer-in-charge Mohammad Emdadul Haque.

A case has been filed in this regard.
