19 July uprising martyrs' families get financial aid in Chandpur

CHANDPUR, June 25, 2025 (BSS) - The district administration today distributed financial assistance to 19 martyrs' families of the 2024 July Uprising.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mohsin Uddin handed over savings certificates worth Taka 10 lakh to each of the martyrs' families at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office this afternoon.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md Ershad Uddin, Additional District Magistrate Suprabhat Chakma and other officials were present at the time. 

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mohsin Uddin said there are 31 martyrs' families in the district. Each family will receive savings certificates worth Taka 30 lakh in phases. In the first phase, 19 families have received the assistance.
