Woman killed in Dinajpur road accident

DINAJPUR, July 5, 2025 (BSS) - A woman was killed in a road accident in Dasmile area in Sadar upazila of the district today. 

The deceased was Halima Khatun, 50, wife of Afsar Ali, a resident of Askarpur village of the upazila. 

The accident occurred around 1.30 pm on the Dinajpur-Panchagarh highway when a truck hit a motorcycle from behind, leaving its rider Halima dead on the spot, police said.

Halima was returning home on a motorcycle with her husband. Details could not be known immediately.
