RMP holds orientation for new constables

RAJSHAHI, July 5, 2025 (BSS) - Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) organized an orientation for newly recruited constables, urging them to perform their duties with utmost sincerity, honesty, and professionalism.

The RMP Police Training School arranged the orientation for the 15th batch of constables at the POM Conference Hall of Police Lines today.

RMP Commissioner Muhammad Abu Sufian inaugurated the training as the chief guest. He called upon the new recruits to serve the public selflessly, staying away from greed and personal desires.

He emphasized that police must adopt a pro-people attitude and dedicate themselves to eliminating crimes, including extortion and terrorism, to ensure peace and security in society.

Providing various service-related guidelines, The RMP Commissioner said the newly recruited constables must contribute wholeheartedly to maintaining law and order and fulfill the hopes and expectations of the general public.

"Police must take the lead in ensuring the rule of law," he added, reiterating the importance of performing duties with sincerity and integrity.

Earlier, the chief guest welcomed the recruits by presenting them with flower sticks.
