2 held with 198 bottles of phensedyl from Biral in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, July 13, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two suspected drug dealers along with 198 bottles of phensedyl from Dharmopur Baro Hindu Para village under Biral Police Station in Dinajpur early this morning.

The detainees were identified as Md Jahangir Alam, 48, son of late Mokbul Hossain, and Shree Fagu Chandra Barman, 42, son of late Mohini Chandra Barman - both residents of the same village.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-13's Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1, based at the Dinajpur Camp, conducted a raid in the area. During the drive, they arrested the two men at around 3:30am and recovered the phensedyl from their possession, said a press release.

After filing a case, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and the seized phensedyl to Biral Police Station.
