41 crime suspects held in special operation at Tejgaon division

DHAKA, Aug 18, 2025 (BSS) - Police on Sunday arrested 41 crime suspects in a special operation in six police stations of the capital's Tejgaon Division.
 
The arrested persons include accused in regular cases, drug dealers, professional active robbers, thieves, terrorists, warranted accused, and identified and habitual criminals, said a police press release today.
 
According to Adabor Police Station sources, three people were arrested from different places.
 
The arrestees Md. Shahadat Hossain Khan (20), Md. Jewel Rana (27) and Russell Mollah (45).

 Mohammadpur Police Station arrested 11 people from different areas under the police station area.
 
The arrested were identified as:  Iftan (27) Ismail (23), Shamim (30), Muzaffar (55), Apurba (19), Qorban (19), Hridoy (23), Arman (23),Wasim (31), Rifat (27) and Raihan Kabir (31)
 
Tejgaon thana police arrested four persons.  They are: Anwar Hossain (40), Russell Mia (27)Md. Intaz (21) andNupur alias Liza (23).
 
Tejgaon Industrial police arrested  three persons who were identified as Niamat Ali (72), Md. Rezaul Karim Patwari (49) and Riyad Munshi (12).

Hatirjheel Police nabbed five persons. They are Shuvo (19), Md. Mobarak Ullah (27), Roni Das (26), Babu Hawlader alias Ample Babu (38) and Awal Chowkidar Abhi (29).

 Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police arrested 15 persons. They are Shafiur (45), Mamun (33), Ramzan (22), Jasim (29), Shamim (22), Maruf (29), Mizan (28), Jewel (23), Raihan (25), Alamin (19), Musa (20), Farhan (20), Kalu (25), Shakil (21) and Rafsanul (19)
