July Punarjagoron Oath in Rajshahi: People vow to build new societies

RAJSHAHI, July 26, 2025 (BSS)- More than 200 men and women here today took oath for building new societies with the spirit of July Punarjagaron.

They took the oath in an event titled "July Punarjagorone Somaj Gothone Sapath Grohon" held at Shilpakala Academy auditorium jointly organized by district administration and department of social services.

Commissioner of Rajshahi division Khondoker Azim Ahmed and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police of Rajshahi Range Muhammad Shahjahan addressed the meeting as the chief and special guests respectively, while Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohinul Hassan was in the chair.

Superintendent of Police Farjana Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tuktuk Talukder, Deputy Director of Department of Social Services Monira Khatun and Deputy Director of Department of Women Affairs Shobnom Shirin also spoke on the occasion. 

Commissioner Azim Ahmed said participation of each and every of the citizens is indispensable for positive change in the society and building a strengthened foundation.

He mentioned that July Punarjagoron is not only a programme but also a model that inspires people to be liable in patriotism and accountable to build the society.

He also urged the participants to work unitedly for resisting social degradation, establishing justice and development of the country.
