DHAKA, Aug 16, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested 1,929 more crime suspects during the ongoing nationwide anti-criminal drive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Police Headquarters, 1,073 of them were arrested in connection with previous cases and pending warrants, while 856 others were held on various criminal charges.

During the drive, law enforcers also recovered one local pistol, two foreign pistols, three magazines, five rounds of bullet, two crude bombs, and several sharp weapons.
