SATKHIRA, July 26, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has recovered a large quantity of smuggled goods including sarees, medicines, mobile phones, and drugs, during raids in various border areas of the district today.
On information, BGB teams conducted operations in the Taluigacha, Padmashakhra, Bhomra, Kakdanga, Sultanpur, and Hizaldi areas under Sadar and Kolaroa upazilas.
The seized items have an estimated market value of around Tk 5.64 lakh.
No arrests have been made in connection with the seizures.
