Army provides free treatments to 300 patients in Khagrachhari

KHAGRACHHARI, July 27, 2025 (BSS) - As part of its ongoing humanitarian initiative, the Bangladesh Army organised a free medical camp today in Manikchhari upazila of the district, offering vital healthcare services to local residents.

Free medical treatment and necessary medicines were provided to over 300 local patients at this day-long medical camp organised on the premises of English School of the upazila.

The 20th Field Regiment Artillery Sindukchhari Zone under Guimara Region of the Army has provided free medical services and medicines to the patients.

Army specialist doctor Captain Nahian Kabir provided this medical service to the local helpless, poor and underprivileged people at the English School in the Sadar Upazila. 

He treated various diseases including gynecology, itching (scabies), fever, cold and cough, anemia, diarrhea, stomach pain, physical weakness, headache.
